I graduated from Loretta Heights College in Denver CO and then moved to Honolulu, HI where I received my Master's Degree in Social Work. I lived in Hawaii for seven years and worked as a social worker. I returned to Texas in 1977 and married by husband, John Richards. We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary on February 2nd. My career in social work has primarily been in the areas of home health and hospice. I now volunteer my time with our local hospice program.
John and I recently returned from a wonderful trip to the Holy Land and are planning a trip to Alaska next fall. We enjoy visiting our farm in Arkansas and are planning to build a "duck camp" there in the coming year. Another venture for 2010--I will be starting hula dance lessons in February. Anyone want to join me?
I have so many fond memories of my high school days, (Latin was not one of them): Land's drive-in, dances at the community center, Mrs. Norton's homemaking class, (does anyone still have the recipe for Bishop's Bread?), and Homecoming games with REAL mums.

Hi Barry. Thank you so much for your contribution to the class website fund. It is a great way to stay in touch and we appreciate your support. We are planning a 70th birthday party in a couple of years. How can we be 70? We were only 30 yesterday! Susan

Hi Michael. Thank you so much for your donation to the class website fund. The website is a great way to stay in touch and we appreciate your support! It was great to see you at the reunion. We are planning to have the reunion in 3 years rather than waiting 5 years and also a 70th birthday party in a couple of years. Are we really that old? Susan
