Obituary for Geraldine "Gerrye" Proctor

Geraldine “Gerrye” Louise Bram Proctor, 70, of Inez, passed away September 25, 2018. She was born on August 22, 1948 in El Campo to the late Oscar F. Bram and Junie Mae Carpenter Bram. Gerrye was a retired nursing home administrator. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila O’Rear and husband Brian of Houston; sons, Guy Duane Proctor and Jennifer of Meyersville, Pete Proctor and wife Cindy of Missouri City and Audie Proctor of Matagorda; grandchildren, Brittany Proctor and Josh, Brandon Proctor, Brennan Proctor, Khyli Proctor, Kenzi Proctor, Braeden Proctor, Jenna Lindstrom and Jon, Ted Davant and Rachel, Bryce Proctor, Westin Proctor, Scott O’Rear, Luke O’Rear, Allison O’Rear and Andrew O’Rear; great-grandchildren, Emeriee Jones, Easton Davant and Aurora Lindstrom; brother Garry Bram and wife Marian; brother-in-law, Leonard Proctor and wife Betty and nieces, Alicia Riha and husband Todd and Amber Cervenka and husband Jeremy. 

Gerrye was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Guy C. Proctor.

Family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 28 at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services begin 10 a.m. Saturday, September 29 at First Baptist Church in Victoria with Rev. Jim Shamburger officiating. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Park in El Campo.

Pallbearers will be Todd Riha, Jeremy Cervenka, Brian O’Rear, Bing Bernhard, Sterling Bernhard and Bryce Proctor. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Alicia Riha and Amber Cervenka.
