I got in a big hurry last Tuesday morning at work  (about 0500 hrs) and hurried out of the door of the control house, tripped and fell. Finally about 10:00 I decided I couldn't wait any longer and I should go to the hospital. I figured some bruised ribs and  they would wrap an ace bandage around me and send me home. X-rays showed  broke four ribs and some internal bleeding. So, I got life flighted to UTMB Clear Lake. Needed to be in an ICU and Matagorda Regional was full. Anyway, I stayed there till Thursday afternoon. Chris came and got me and took me home. All is well now accept it hurts to cough and laugh. 🤕😋 Pain meds....good.
