Obituary for Linda Roddy

Linda Justine Gregurek Roddy, 71, of Louise, passed away on April 20, 2019. She was born on December 16, 1947 in El Campo to the late Frank and Gladys Gregurek. She was a hair dresser for 50 years and employed by Meridian Assisted Living.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Roddy of Louise; daughter, Michelle Roddy of Louise; granddaughter, Mary Garcia of Louise; grandson, Dave Douglas Garcia of Louise; sisters, Gale Richards and husband Danny of Heber City, Utah, Colleen Smith and husband Tommy of Sweeny and brothers, Kenneth Gregurek and wife Linda of Jasper, Greg Gregurek and wife Susan of Spring and Ronnie Gregurek of San Antonio.

Visitation begins 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at Triska Funeral Home with family receiving visitors from 5-7 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 25 at St. Procopius Catholic Church in Louise with Mass following at 10 a.m. with Rev. Clement Quainoo officiating. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Memorial Park in El Campo. 

Pallbearers are Lee Wayne Roddy, Heath Roddy, Darryl Popp, Richard Sablatura, Tommy Smith and David Saldierna. Honorary pallbearers are Dave Douglas Garcia, Dave Garcia, Jessie Saldierna, Lawrence Roddy, Claudie Graham, Taylor Brown, Danny Richards and her nephews.
