Patricia Moore Lovell | Visit Guest Book Patricia Moore Lovell "Pat" Patricia Moore Lovell, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend left this earth peacefully on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, surrounded by her family. Pat grew up in El Campo, Texas, and was a long-time resident of the Westlake, Austin area. Dubbed "Ms. Everything" by her high school peers, Pat had a passion for all that life had to offer, especially when it came to family and close friends. An avid reader, she was very involved with the Westbank Community Library for many years and led or participated in multiple book groups, with a special fondness for mystery novels. She was an active member of the Westlake Garden Club with a love and extensive knowledge of plants. Pat was also passionate about food, art, and travel. A self-proclaimed "foodie," Pat was in her element exploring the restaurant scene and searching for that next great dish. She traveled extensively with her loving husband of 39 years, Dale Lovell. The two enjoyed spending time at their home away from home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is survived by her devoted husband, her son Matt and his wife Lauren, her daughter Wendy and her husband Patrick and their son Jacob, all of whom reside in the Austin area. She is also survived by her sister Jaime and husband Pete Zimmerhanzel of Taylor, their children Heidi & Phillip, along with their spouses and six children, and her cousins Angela Malek of Sugarland, Howard Moore and his wife Lola, Kathy Dwight and her husband Larry, all of Dallas. Pat is met in heaven by her parents Jim & Angelina Moore. A memorial service will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5455 Bee Cave Road, Austin, Texas 78746 on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Westbank Community Library (1309 Westbank Dr, 78746).
