Obituary for Raymond Frank Mach

Raymond “Ray” Mach, 75, of El Campo passed away March 24, 2024. He was born in Louise, Tx to the late Vinc and Lucy (Kutach) Mach Sr. and grew up on a farm in Crescent and was the baby of 11 siblings. He married the love of his life Elizabeth Barosh on February 22nd 1969. He received his draft papers the day before their wedding and served in the Army from 1969 to 1971 in the Vietnam War, as a Buck Sargent. Ray became a Master Electrician while working at Martin Electric. He then went on to start his own business “Ray’s Tree Trimming Service”. He was a very hardworking man who took pride in his work. He loved to go fishing on his boat and enjoying a beautiful day at Matagorda beach. He loved life and never missed a chance to take a trip to the casinos or placing a bet at the dog races. He enjoyed bowling and then passed his love down to his grandchildren. He loved watching football, but enjoyed watching his grandkids play even more. Ray was a loving husband, a great father, and a wonderful grandfather. We will all miss his jokes, stories, contagious laughter, and charming smile.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Mach of El Campo; Daughters, Amy Mach of Corpus Christi, Jill Mach and spouse Chuck Watson of El Campo; Grandchildren, Ashley Wells, Kai Woodruff and Holden Watson. Great Grandchildren; Jaxon and Brigstyn Wells. Siblings; Dorothy Peterson, Annie Mae Brod, Lucy Marie Ustynik and Mary Ann (Ron) Holton.
Raymond will be proceeded by death by his parents, sister Joyce (Leroy) Venglar and brothers Anton, VJ, Delphine, Jerry, Daniel & Edward Mach. Visitation will begin at 4p.m Monday April 1st with a Rosary being recited at 6pm at Triskas Funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday April 2nd at 2pm at St. Phillips Catholic Church. Buriel to follow at Saint Procopius Cemetery in Louise, Tx.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Watson, Jonathan Wells, Kai Woodruff, Holden Watson, Steven Venglar, Mark Lilie, and Henry Lilie. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Mach, Randy Mach, Dirk Robinson and Jaxon Wells.
