Catherine Smith, 72, of Ashdown, AR passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 in a local hospital. Mrs. Smith was born December 5, 1947 in Wharton, TX to the late Charles and Margaret Knight. She was an avid reader and enjoyed dragonflies.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Debbie Day of Ashdown and Jeff and Stacey Gilbert of Atlanta, TX, one brother, Mike Knight of Georgetown, TX, one sister, Sandra Gehler of Harker Heights, TX and three grandchildren.
A visitation will be Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown from 6:00 – 8:00. A graveside service in scheduled for Friday morning at 10:00 at Ashdown Cemetery with Ed Root and Joe Martinez officiating.
